THE CHOCOLATE TREASURE
Danai Zaire
One
day in April I decided to fish in the small lake near my house, but when I got
there I realised that I had forgotten my bait, so I started to search for
worms. Suddenly I found a worm-eaten map. I looked at it carefully and realised
that it was a map of the village I lived in. I called my five friends and we
went to the place marked on the map.
First
we went to find the "red tree", which was an apple tree. From there
we took the small path near the tree and we saw a river. We crossed it with the
help of some rocks and then we looked at the map. It said "look under the
boat". We saw a boat and we went up to it. First Bob found a key. We said
a big "Yeesss!" and we started again.
We
walked along a path into the forest and finally we found a little house. It was
dark in there. We opened a window and we started to look for the treasure.
Five
minutes later Nick said "Hey, Danai, come here please!" I ran there and
I saw a big mouldy bar. He had found it in the fire place. We opened it and we
saw a paper which said "Congratulations! Now the treasure is yours! Enjoy
it!" "It's chocolate!"
said Mary. "Yes, it is!" We ate all the chocolate and we went back
home happily.
